Glitter polish could've prevented Ledger attack

I still cannot comprehend how big companies undermine good security practices. Tamper proffing is mandatory for any device that claims to be secure.

Applying simple nail glitter polish, taking photo and connecting it to the device serial number would make such an attack almost impossible. Of course there are even better methods that require some hardware modification that will make the device little more expensive but compared to the asset value they need to protect, it is still negligible.

P.S If you verify that you device is clean, apply some glitter polish to it and take photos. Check it every time you need to use it. It is simple and cheap tamper proofing solution.
