Non KYC questions

With the Netherlands moving to tax unrealized gains, and maybe others in the EU following suit, with big actors holding large portions of the BTC pool and other developments in the recent 5 years, I feel like the old thought of holding sats to free yourself from the broken fiat system is slowly falling apart. What’s the point of holding “perfect money» if you will be punished by paying more and more broken money to hold it. If that makes sense?

So non KYC purchases and self custodian wallets. How do you look at it? If you were to look into the future: what benefits will non KYC purchases give and what downsides? If you haven’t payed taxes on these BTC for 10-20 years, how would you start to circulate the money? Anonymous purchases with BTC, yes. But what will you be able to buy with BTC? A house, a car? And if not, you will eventually have to sell for FIAT money. Anonymous BTC sales to FIAT, yes. As long as the options for doing so is still available and not regulated to death. Do you have any thoughts on how the random BTC HODLer person will manage to change his or hers life in 10 years time going non KYC vs KYC?
