Calling it a day after 11 years in corporate and slide deck number 500. Now I want to build something meaningful.

11 years in corporate. Somewhere around reorganization number 10 and slide deck number 500, I stopped counting and started thinking.

I don't want to be in the flywheel anymore, obeying things that make no sense and bending over to corporate politeness. I want to build something of my own and prove I can do it by myself.

When I discovered Bitcoin 8 years ago, I put in the hours to understand it. After that, I could not unsee it. The mission is noble, and Bitcoin is the only thing I've ever felt worth building for. Not for the glory. For the mission. I dream about it, it occupies my mind every night before I fall asleep. Money that cannot be debased. Freedom. A heritage you can actually pass on to your kids. That resonates with me.

So this year I stop watching and start building. Nights and weekends, next to the day job. Something that helps normal people get in and hold their own keys.

I will probably fail in public a few times. Fine. I'm more scared of reorg number 20 than of failing at something I believe in.
