How effective is BTC to XMR to BTC for general privacy?
I have been reading about using BTC to XMR to BTC swaps as a way to improve privacy and separate transaction history. One service I am considering for the first swap is Darkchange.
The general idea is to convert BTC into XMR, move it to a new Monero address, and then at a later time convert it back to BTC using a different platform. I would also take basic privacy precautions like using a VPN and keeping things separated.
Has anyone here tried something like this for privacy reasons? I would be interested to hear real experiences and any general advice or things to be aware of.
